Homeopathic Health Practitioner - Canadian Society of Homeopaths CSOH - The West Coast Homeopathic Society of BC WCHS - The Montreal Institute of Classical Homeopathy Professional Association MICHpa - Secretary of the HTSF-Canada Executive Board I am a graduate of the Montreal Institute of Classical Homeopathy (MICH) Homeopathic-Naturopathic program. I began my career in the healing arts studying Jin Shin Do Acupressure on Lasqueti Island and afterwards I trained at the Montreal Gongfu Research Centre where traditional Chinese medicine is combined with martial arts. To help support healers I co-founded the Montreal Healing Arts Community, a non-profit offering networking with outreach and education to the healing community, and also organized a local support group for social phobia. Communication is important to me and I have studied Nonviolent Communication, David Bohm’s Dialogue methods, as well as Active Listening by Carl Rogers. My current practice focuses on Homeopathy, which retunes the body’s natural healing capacity, and develops health in a compassionate and gentle way. "Lauren has a gift for holding space that lets others see something deeper within themselves and to help them focus on what needs to be explored for a return to health. Having a life-long study in the principles of health and nature, she shares this knowledge and experience with her clients." |
Homeopathy was found to be the second most used modality globally after Indigenous herbal medicine by the WHO in 2005. It is used in more than 80 countries and is part of the national healthcare systems in the UK, Germany, France, India, Pakistan Sri Lanka, Brazil and Mexico. With the growing interest in finding methods that support natural healing processes and have less side effects and serious risks, homeopathy's popularity continues to grow world wide. |
